Educational & Other Qualification:-
(i) Essential :- Graduation or equivalent from a recognised University
(ii) Desirable:- Knowledge of Computers.
Age limit :- Not exceeding 27 years as on the closing date for receipt of application i.e. 19.8.2012. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC.
Written Exam Pattern:-
The written examination for the post of ACIO-II/Exe contains two papers namely Paper I (Objective type) and Paper II (Descriptive type on English language only). The total duration for both the Papers is 1 hour and 40 minutes.

IB Security Assistant (Executive) Recruitment
Scale of pay:- Rs. 5200-20200/- and Grade pay Rs. 2000/- plus allowances at Central Govt. rates.
Age:- Not exceeding 27 years as on closing date of application. Upper age limit is relaxable for SC/ST/OBC, Ex-Serviceman as per Government of India rules. Also relaxable for departmental candidates up to 40 years in accordance with the instructions/orders issued by the Central Government from time to time.
(A) Essential: (i)- Matriculation(Class X) or equivalent from a recognized Board.
(ii)- Knowledge of local language/Dialect as specified above against each SIBx/centres of examination.
(B) Desirable: Field Experience in intelligence work.
Selection of Candidates: The candidates who come up to a specific standard following a preliminary screening of applications based on knowledge of the local language(s) of the SIBx/Centre concerned, academic qualification, marks obtained in the examinations and depending upon the number of vacancies, would be called for an Objective Type test on General Knowledge, Current awareness, aptitude, reasoning, general arithmetic and English of 100 marks to be held at the respective centres of examination where the candidate have applied for. Those candidates who meet specific standard in the objective type test will be further called for local language test (50 marks) and personality test (50 marks).
The Objective type would be held on a common day for all the centres of examination and hence the candidates should apply for the vacancies of a SIB, depending upon their knowledge of the local Language/Dialect mentioned against it in table ‘A’ above. Application submitted for more than one SIBx/Centre would be rejected.
Intelligence Bureau Personal Assistant Recruitment
Educational Qualification:- Matriculation from a recognized Board with proficiency in Stenography (100 words per minute)
Desirable – Knowledge of computer operation.
Pay Scale:- Rs.9300-34800/- (Pay Scale) + Rs.4600/- (GP) + allowance as per Central Govt. rates
Educational Qualification:- Matriculation in Physics and Mathematics with two years Industrial Training Institute pass certificate in any of the following trades:-
ii)Information Technology and Electronic System maintenance
iv)Mechanic Computer Hardware
v)Mechanic (Radio & TV)
vi)Mechanic cum operator of Electronic Communication system.
Pay Scale:- Rs.5200-20200/- (Pay Scale) + Rs.2400/- (GP) + allowance as per Central Govt. rates
Intelligence Bureau Junior Intelligence Officer Recruitment Grade-II (Electronics Data Processing)
Educational Qualification:- (i) 12th Standard pass or equivalent
(ii) Training in computer operations for, at least, three months from recognised Institutions and possess a speed of not less than 8000 key depressions per hour for Data Entry work. Note: Speed of 8000 key depressions per hour for Data Entry work would be judged by conducting a speed test on EDP Machines by the Competent Authority.
Pay Scale:- Rs.5200-20200/- (Pay Scale) + Rs.2400/- (GP) + allowance as per Central Govt. rates.
i.Between 18-27 years as on closing date of application for all post. Upper age limit is relaxable by five years for SC/ST and by three years for OBC candidates.
ii. For JIO-II/WT, the upper age limit is relaxable for Departmental candidates up to 40 years in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the Central Government.
iii. Similarly, for JIO-II/EDP, the upper age limits is relaxable for Government servants up to 35 years in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the Central Government.
iv.However, for Personal Assistant (PA) the upper age limit is relaxable for Government Servants up to 5 years in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the Central Government.
v. The age limit is also relaxable for Ex-Serviceman as well as residents of J&K in terms of government instructions issued from time to time.
Recruitment process :
Candidates can apply for any or more of the three posts provided he/she fulfils the prescribed eligibility conditions. There will be a common written test (objective type multiple choice) for the posts of JIO-II/WT, JIO-II/EDP and PA. The written examination (descriptive type) for the post of PA will be held separately in 2nd shift.. Depending upon the number of vacancies in these posts, the candidates, who are short listed on the basis of their performance in the written examination, would be called for skill test and practical test –cum- interview separately for each post.
